What did you learn from today’s lesson?

When we fail or mess up, does Jesus reject us? Absolutely not!! Jesus calls out to us and wants us to get close to Him. To know that we are loved by Him.

What did Peter do when he denied Jesus? He went outside and wept (cried).

How many times did Peter deny Jesus? 3 times.

Jesus turned Peter’s failures and negative actions into positives. Jesus forgave and restored Peter.

Our scripture verse tells us that Jesus cares for everyone. He cares for all of His sheep. We are considered the sheep of Jesus and He is our Good Shepherd. He would go find the one lost sheep even though He has 99 others. Jesus loves us!

How can we apply Peter’s actions in our lives today? We trust Jesus, obey Him immediately, follow Him and His example.
